I specialize in individual psychotherapy for adults and adolescents as well as play therapy for children. I strive to create a safe, collaborative, non-judgmental therapeutic environment in order to assist my clients in reducing painful symptoms, improving relationships, and increasing emotional health and well-being.

My approach to working with clients is highly individualized and greatly influenced by interpersonal neurobiology and trauma research.

Areas of Specialization:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Trauma and Abuse

  • Relationships

  • Eating Disorders

  • Sexual Orientation

  • Gender

  • Parenting

  • Pregnancy and Post-partum Difficulties

Child Therapy

Parent-Child Therapy

The most rapid brain development in the lifespan occurs between birth and age three. Parent-Child therapy addresses this crucial developmental time for the brain and relationships through collaboration between the child, parent, and therapist.

  • Parental Depression

  • Developmental Differences

  • Relational Concerns

  • Adoption

  • Attachment Challenges

"Play is the child's language. Toys are the words." Garry Landreth, Ph.D.

Play therapy is the child's equivalent of adult psychotherapy. Children are typically able to express their thoughts and feelings more naturally and easily through toys instead of words.

Play Therapy can be beneficial for children for many reasons. Areas of focus may include:

  • Adoption

  • Attachment Disruptions

  • Relationship Concerns

  • Behavior Issues

  • Gifted/Talented Children

  • Developmental Differences

  • Depression

  • Anxiety
